There are usually two places on a 3D printer where the heating element is used: the nozzle and the hot bed.

Jaye Heater Technology provides the 3D Printer Heater Cartridge Resistance  both for  the nozzle and the hot bed.

The working temperature of the nozzle is generally between 180℃ and 250℃. By heating a piece of metal (aluminum or copper) to the specified temperature, the wire is melted indirectly. The power is not large here, but the heating efficiency is high.

The general working temperature of the hot bed is between 40℃ and 80℃. By heating the metal plate or glass plate attached to the hot bed, the bottom of the print is kept at a certain temperature, which is not easy to shrink and lead to warping. Because the heating area of the hot bed is large and the heat dissipation is severe, the heating power should be relatively large.

Hot bed heating generally has three kinds of heating sheet, one is directly printed on PCB board, the use of copper foil heating; One is to use PI film encapsulated copper foil heating; And a silicon rubber heating plate; These three kinds are useful, the power is generally more than 100W; The voltage is also 24 volts
