PTFE Heaters

PTFE Heaters use PTFE (also called Teflon) as the outside sheath insulation during the liquid immersion heating, because the chemical properties of PTFE (Teflon) are extremely stable, and the corrosion resistance is particularly good. The surface of the Teflon pipe wall is smooth and moderately flexible. There is slight vibration during use, so it is not easy to scale. The PTFE (Teflon)) heater is small in size and compact in structure. The heat transfer area per unit volume of the equipment is more than 4 times that of the shell-and-tube heater with a metal tube. The flexible Teflon tube can work safely under the impact and vibration of the fluid. The tube bundle can be made into various special shapes as required. The working pressure, working temperature, heat transfer coefficient and installation method of Teflon heaters vary greatly according to different types, different tube and shell materials and different heat media. The production of PTFE (Teflon)has become more and more mature, and they are widely used in corrosive industries such as chemical industry, medicine, and pickling.
