How to check the exothermic temperature of the oil drum heater?

Can the heat release temperature of the silicone rubber heating belt of the oil drum heater meet the temperature environment required by the equipment? We just need to do a simple check.

1. An important detail parameter of the device is the surface power of the device. If the resistivity is too large, the surface power will be very large after the corresponding current is introduced.

2. If the resistivity is too small, the surface power will be too small when the corresponding current is applied.

Therefore, small power appliances use small caliber and small current, but the current depends on the resistance. The higher the current, the higher the temperature. Conversely, the lower the current in the drum heater, the cooler the device will be. The length and diameter of the heater are calculated in this way.

3. Check the surface temperature of the device and the color of the silicone rubber heating belt. As the ambient temperature increases, the color changes from dark red to bright red, then from nearly yellow to white, and then to dazzling blue and white.

According to the actual situation, we can judge the temperature of the target object by the color of the object's light.

a. High working temperature of oil drum heater (1100℃): yellow and red.

b. The higher the equipment control temperature (1300℃): yellowish white.

c. Bright blue and white (above 1500℃).

So if you're testing the effect of different surface temperatures on the device, you're really just looking at the color change.
