How To Choose The Tubular Heater Material?
The tubular heater material is usually stainless steel 304 material. The working environment is generally divided into dry heating and liquid heating.
If it is dry burning, such as for ovens and duct heaters, it can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel 304.
If it is heating liquid, if it is water, use stainless steel tubular heater. This stainless steel is generally made of stainless steel 304.
If it is oil, carbon steel or stainless steel 304 can be used.
If it has weak acid and alkaline liquids, stainless steel 316 can be used.
If there is strong acid in the liquid, stainless steel 316, PTFE or even titanium tube should be used.
The shape of the stainless steel tubular heater is ever-changing, the simple ones are straight rods, U-shaped and then special-shaped. For specific conditions, tubular heaters of specific shapes are used. Generally, the wall thickness of the tubular heater is 0.8mm, but according to the working environment of the tubular heater, such as the case of high water pressure, it is necessary to use a seamless 7 stainless steel tube with a thicker wall to make the tubular heater.
The two important materials inside the tubular heater are insulating powder and resistance wire. Quartz sand will be used for poor insulating powder, and insulating magnesium oxide powder will be used for good insulating powder. In addition, the resistance wire is generally iron-chromium-aluminum, and nickel-chromium alloy wire can be used according to the requirements and grades of pipe production.
