How to install and save RY 240 thermal fuse
Installation Method
1. RY 240 thermal fuse can be installed by welding, riveting, welding and other methods. It is recommended that the mounting position of the lead on the resin-sealed side is more than 5mm away from the body.
2. In the case of welding, please be careful not to cause the welding heat to trigger the action of the fuse type thermal protector. In order to prevent this malfunction, a tool can be clamped near the fuse shell during welding to dissipate heat and complete the work in a short time as much as possible. In addition, it is also very effective to reduce the welding temperature or to weld away from the body of the fuse.
3. In the case of riveting or welding, please be careful not to increase the resistance. If the resistance at the connection is too large, it will generate abnormal heat when passing current and cause the fusing thermal protector to operate. Especially in the case of riveting, the electricity will increase due to the influence of thermal cycle and temperature, so please take this into consideration.
4. After installing the RY 240 thermal fuse, do not pull, knead, or twist the lead wire forcefully.
5. When using the RY 240 thermal fuse, do not contact the lead wire on the resin-sealed side with the fusible thermal fuse body. If the lead on the side sealed by the tree is in contact with the fuse body, the current can flow through the fuse body to the lead on the other end, which will not cut off the circuit.
6. There is current flowing through the body of RY 240 thermal fuse, so please do not make the body of the fusible thermal fuse touch the metal part of the installation part.
Storage Method
1. The body part of the RY 240 thermal fuse and the lead part of the lead A are silver-plated, so it will cause discoloration due to vulcanization. At this time, the surface indication will be difficult to identify, and the welding characteristics will also deteriorate.
2. During storage, please don't install it near carton, suitcase and other substances that are prone to produce sulfur-containing gas. If it is stored in a carton, please pay attention to the following points.
3. When the packaging bag of RY 240 thermal fuse is unopened, put the packaging bag into a plastic bag for double packaging
4. When the packaging bag of RY 240 thermal fuse has been opened, the packaging bag shall be sealed with a heat seal, and then put into a plastic bag for double packaging.
