Precautions For Explosion-proof Heating Element
What are the precautions for explosion-proof heating element?
1. The components are allowed to work under the following conditions:
(1) The relative humidity of the air is not more than 95%;
(2) The working voltage is not more than 1.1 times of the rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
2. When the heating medium is liquid, the effective length of the element (H1 or H2) must be completely immersed in the liquid. The heating part of the element should be a certain distance from the container wall, generally 50-60mm or more.
3. The liquid heating element shall not be used to heat gas or solid objects.
4. If there is scale or carbon formation on the surface of the liquid heating element, it should be cleaned before use, so as not to affect the service life of the element and reduce the thermal efficiency.
5. When smelting light metals or nitrates, alkalis, asphalt, paraffin, etc. are in a solid state, the heating should be started at a reduced pressure, and the solid heating medium can only be raised to the rated voltage after the solid heating medium is completely melted.
6. Safety measures should be considered when heating nitrate to prevent explosion accidents.
7. The wiring part of the component should be placed in the insulation layer, outside the heating room, and avoid contact with corrosive and explosive gases. The end of the outlet must be kept dry and clean to avoid short circuit. Do not use excessive force when wiring.
8. A small amount of paste may overflow at the end of the component. This is the sealing material and does not affect the use. After the power is turned off, clean the spilled matter.
9. The components should be stored in a ventilated room with a relative humidity of no more than 85% and no corrosive gas.
10. Component use--After a period of time without being used for a long time and damp, when the cold insulation resistance is less than 1 megohm, the component can be baked in a drying oven at a temperature of about 200 degrees, or the voltage can be directly heated by electricity. Remove moisture until it returns to normal.
