1. The closeness of the cartridge heater of the mold and the hole diameter of the mold
When the mold cartridge heater is placed in the mold hole for heating, it is generally required that the gap between the tube diameter and the mold hole diameter does not exceed 0.1-0.2mm. The reason is that the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can be quickly transferred to the module only when the tube diameter is very close to the mold aperture, so that the surface temperature of the cartridge heater will not be too high, thereby prolonging the life of the cartridge heater.

2. Temperature control
When the cartridge heater is heated in the air, because the air has an obstructive effect on heat conduction, the cartridge heater is prone to excessive surface temperature without temperature control. In severe cases, it will be caused by the internal The temperature is too high, thermal expansion and contraction, and then the phenomenon of tube burst occurs, which affects the life of the cartridge heater.
3. Material selection
According to the working temperature of the heating tube, choose a suitable shell material.
The working temperature is about 200-300 degrees, using stainless steel 304 material;
The working temperature is about 400-500 degrees, using stainless steel 321 material;
The working temperature is around 600-700 degrees, using stainless steel 310S material;
The working temperature is about 800-900 degrees, and the material of Incoloy is used.
