What is the high temperature wire? What kinds of it are there?

Generally, high-temperature-resistant wires are made of solid core or stranded silver-plated or nickel-plated copper wire. It is mainly composed of a conductor and an insulating layer. The insulator is made of PFA Teflon. This kind of wire is also called high-temperature wire, and the general working temperature is about minus 80 degrees Celsius to above zero 250 degrees Celsius, and it can run in an environment of 300 degrees Celsius in a short time.

In addition to resisting high temperature environments, high temperature resistant wires also have strong corrosion resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, insulation, moisture resistance, high voltage resistance, and flame resistance. The most important thing is that this type Wires are also "longevity" wires and have a long service life.

In terms of application, high-temperature wires have also played a very powerful role. It is often used as control wires, automotive wires, aviation wires, rubber insulated flexible wires and other applications in various industries such as communications, construction, automobiles, and electronics.

What types of high temperature wires are there?

There are many types of high-temperature wires. Commonly used are fluoroplastic insulated high-temperature wires, silicone rubber insulated high-temperature wires, silicone rubber insulated braided wires, multi-core high-temperature cables, mineral insulated fire-resistant cables, and high-temperature electronic wires. Teflon wires, aircraft wax wires, nylon sheathed wires, Teflon high-voltage wires, silicone rubber high-voltage wires, mica high-temperature wires, so there are many specifications.

What is the maximum degree of high temperature wire that can withstand?

Generally, common insulation materials for ordinary cables include polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride. Cables made of such materials can generally operate at 70°C to 90°C for a long time. PFA Teflon is used as the insulation layer of the high temperature wire. It is precisely because this material has good high temperature resistance that the wires produced by it can run for a long time in an environment of 180°C and above. If you want to talk about the maximum degree of resistance that high temperature wires can withstand, you have to count as 200°C. But at a high temperature of 200°C, even high-temperature wires cannot run for a long time. They can only run for a short period of time, otherwise they are prone to failure.
