When you are installing the flexible film heater, please read the following carefully to prevent misoperation and ensure longer heater life.
1. Do not let the leads hang loosely. Make sure the leads are installed in a fixed position to prevent the flexible film heater from breaking due to pulling on the leads.
2. Do not immerse the flexible film heater in liquid or expose the heater to steam and corrosive gas.
3. Do not operate the heater at a voltage higher than the specified or rated voltage.

4. Do not cut, punch, disassemble the heater or attempt to repair a damaged heater and avoid contact with sharp objects. Damaged flexible film heaters will not work.
5. Do not leave heaters running unattended unless adequate controls are installed for safety.
6. Do not overlap flexible film heaters.
7. Do not attempt to repair a damaged flexible film heater.

8. Avoid exposing the heater to substances that may ignite or damage the heater.
9. The heater can be bent around curved surfaces; however, do not exceed the minimum bend radius (R0.5mm).
10. When connecting two connection surfaces, make sure that the connection corners are blunt to prevent the heater surface from being damaged or punctured.
You must be careful not to cut or trim the flexible film heater. Heating element conductors cover the entire area to maximize heat dissipation. If cut this will likely create an electrical open circuit and expose live components creating a leakage hazard.
