Main Components：
Transparent Quartz Tube: A protective housing that is heat-resistant (>1000°C) and offers extremely high light transmittance.
Halogen Filament (Tungsten Filament): The core heating element sealed inside the quartz tube, filled with halogen gas (e.g., iodine, bromine).
High-Efficiency Reflector: Typically located behind the tube, it redirects backward-radiated heat forward to concentrate warmth.
Protective Grill: Prevents direct contact with the hot tube.
Control Unit: Includes an on/off switch, thermostat, timer, and safety switches (e.g., tip-over protection, overheat protection).
Working Principle
Halogen Cycle: Electric current heats the tungsten filament to incandescence. Evaporated tungsten atoms combine with halogen gas and later decompose near the hot filament, redepositing tungsten onto it. This cycle significantly extends filament life and maintains long-term tube clarity.
Heat Transfer: Approximately 80% of the energy is converted into infrared radiation (primarily short and medium wave), with 20% as visible light. Like sunlight, infrared radiation travels in straight lines, directly heating objects and people in its path rather than warming the air first.
Instantaneous Response: Full heat output is achieved within 1-2 seconds of being powered on.
