1-Typical operation:
In NC configuration, the switch will permit current flow until the ambient temperature rises to the trip point.
In NO configuration, the switch will remain open until the temperature rises and the switch is activated.
2-Activation:
When the set temperature is reached, the bimetal disc snaps into its changed state. In this case, NC opens and NO closes.
3-Reset:
Once the temperature falls below the reset temperature (typically 15-45 °C less than the trip temperature) the switch returns to its default state without needing to take any further action.
