Five Tests For Choosing A Good Electric Heater Product


In electric heating products, what tests are there to check the quality of the products? Let us introduce it to you.


1. Conduct electrical strength test

Under the electrical strength of the cold state and the electrical strength of the working temperature, a high-quality product should be able to withstand a voltage of 50hz for one minute. After cutting off the current 5ma, there is no breakdown or flashover.


2. Conduct an overload experiment

3. Conduct leakage current experiment

Put the tubular heater under fully heated conditions and energize it at 1.15 times the voltage. If the leakage current is less than 0.5MA, it is a high-quality electric heating tube.


4. Carry out sealing test

This sealing test is mainly carried out on the outer shell of the electric heater. Place the tubular heater in acidified water, and then expose the two ends of the heating element to see if the performance requirements meet the requirements of the first and third items.


5. Carry out sealer test

The main performance requirements are the same as the fourth item, but the conditions of the experiment are different. The conditions of this experiment are to place the heating element in an environment with a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 95% for one day.
