When using high-power mold heating tubes to heat metal modules, plastic molds or hot runners, we usually insert single-head heating tubes into the processed holes. However, the diameter of the single-head heating tube of the mold and the gap between the mounting holes directly affect the service life of the mold tube. If the gap is too large, it will cause the poor heat dissipation and short service life.
The choice of the size of the mounting hole for the mold heating tube is closely related to the thermal density of the tube. It will have different temperature with different thermal densities, and the expansion degree of the sheath tube is also very different.
Therefore, it must clear that the relationship of the hole size and thermal densities, and then determine the diameter of the single-head heating tube of the mold.
