How to maintain stainless steel flange heating tube
Daily maintenance instructions for stainless steel flange heating tubes
Due to the relatively high utilization rate of stainless steel flange heating tubes, according to statistics, more than 50% of the heating tubes are damaged due to improper daily maintenance. Therefore, JAYE INDUSTRY reminds you to pay attention to:
Maintenance in storage
1. The stainless steel flange heating pipe should be stored in a dry warehouse. If the surface is damp due to long-term storage, use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance. If it is less than 1 megohm/500 volts, the electric heating tube should be placed in a drying oven at 200 degrees for drying.
2. Before installing and using the stainless steel heating tube, you should read the relevant instructions in detail, especially the heating medium of the stainless steel electric heating tube, and the stainless steel electric heating tube material is not corrosive. So as not to damage it by wrong operation.
Maintenance in use
1. The terminal of the stainless steel heating tube should be kept clean and dry. When the equipment needs to replace the heating tube, the connecting part of the heating tube should be strictly protected with an insulating sealing device to prevent accidents. Two nuts should be relatively fastened when wiring. Too loose wiring nuts will cause poor circuit contact, burn out, and burn out wires, which will cause accidents. Do not use excessive force to avoid loosening of the lead screws and damage the heating tube.
2. The heating part of the stainless steel heating tube should be completely immersed in the heating medium to prevent the heating tube from being damaged by the undesirable heat dissipation and exceeding the allowable heating temperature. In addition, the lead-out part of the wiring should be exposed to the heat insulation layer of the heater or outside the heater, so that this part should not be overheated and damaged.
3. When the stainless steel heating tube heats some viscose and other substances, such as sodium nitrate, stearic acid, paraffin, etc., the power supply voltage should be reduced at the beginning of heating to reduce the calorific value of the electric heating tube. Raise to the rated voltage (the voltage should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage marked on the various electric heating tubes. If it is suitable for lower than the rated voltage, the heat generated by the electric heating tube will also decrease.) for heating.
4. The longer the stainless steel heating tube is used, if thicker tube scale and grease accumulate on the surface, it should be removed regularly, otherwise the heat transfer performance of the heating tube will decrease and the heat load on the surface of the tube will exceed the rated allowable damage.
