How to prevent fire caused when using electric heater?
Judging from previous cases, there may be many reasons for the electric heater to catch fire.
One is to place an electric heater on or near flammable materials to cause a fire under long-term high-temperature baking.
The other is that the electric heater does not have a plug, and the wire end is directly inserted into the socket, which is likely to cause a short circuit and fire.
In addition, if the resistance wire of the electric heater continues to be used after repeated maintenance, it may overload the circuit and cause a fire.
Therefore, in order to improve the safety of electric heaters
First, flammable and explosive materials must not be placed near electric heaters, and a certain safe distance must be maintained.
Second, the electric heater must be placed on a non-conducting, non-flammable material base.
Third, the safe cut-off flow of the heating wire must meet the capacity requirements of the electric heater, and the industrial electric heater must be equipped with a separate circuit in any case.
Fourth, the wire of the electric heater must be plugged in, and the wire end of the electric heater must not be directly plugged into the socket. Aging or damaged circuits should be replaced in time.
Fifth, put the damaged container into the equipment, and someone must take care of it when using it, and unplug it when leaving. In case of a power failure, unplug the electric heater in time.
Sixth, the resistance wire that has been repaired many times must not be used again, and a new resistance wire should be replaced. It is prohibited to use electric heaters to dry various inflammable and explosive materials.
Seventh, the temperature setting of the electric heater should not only prevent the temperature from being too high, but also prevent the electric heater from baking too long.
