Precautions for Thermostat Installation
1. Place the temperature sensor in the reflux area of the air cooler to ensure good ventilation and pay attention to waterproofing. It is recommended to install the temperature probe upwards and away from the evaporator through the mounting bracket. The sensing line should be protected from stress to prevent it from breaking. Although the sensor has a certain waterproof function, it cannot be absolutely waterproof. If the sensor may enter water in a high humidity environment for a long time and cause temperature measurement deviation, the company will not bear any responsibility for related losses.
2. To extend the sensor, please use 0.75mm2 multi-core copper wire for welding connection. The welding place should be waterproof. The length of the wire is not limited, and the internal resistance of the wire should not exceed 50 ohms. The installation position of the wire is not restricted.
3. For a high-standard control system with extremely high temperature requirements, dual control should be considered when designing the electronic control system to prevent over-cooling and over-heating accidents caused by sensor failure and relay adhesion, such as additional high and low temperature alarms Measures.
4. For driving high-power AC contactors that may cause adhesion of the internal relays of the instrument, designers should take relevant measures (such as installing intermediate relays) to avoid them. In order to prevent damage to the internal relay due to control circuit failure, there is a 2 ampere slow blow fuse inside the instrument. When replacing, please use the same specification fuse (2A slow blow or 5A fast blow).
5. The location of the meter should be away from humidity, vibration, and high temperature. It is strictly forbidden to place the meter box outdoors. Otherwise, it may cause inaccurate temperature measurement and risk of electric shock after the instrument is exposed to rain, and cause damage to the instrument at the same time.
6. The defrost sensor is fixed on the return pipe of the evaporator and must be insulated and waterproof. It is recommended to apply waterproof glue to the probe part, stick it tightly on the air return pipe, wrap it with waterproof tape, and then apply a layer of waterproof glue, and then wrap it well with an insulation sleeve.
