During the kneading and cutting of the tube shell, end cap, tube core and liquid-filled tube, these parts of the cast aluminum heater will inevitably be contaminated. For example, when rubbing the inner groove tube, the lubricant stays in the tube, and it is also contaminated by oil and other contaminants when processing other parts. If the cast aluminum heater is introduced, not only will the wet function of the working medium be poor, the working medium itself will also be contaminated, and the transmission function will also be reduced.
The processing of cast aluminum heaters often leaves some metal chips in the shell, and a large amount of dust will accumulate in the pipeline for a long time. If left untreated, the channel of the capillary will be blocked. The residual water in the aluminum and stainless steel tube shell reacts with the tube wall to produce non-solid gas, which not only corrodes the tube shell, but also blocks the solidification section, making the heat pipe unable to work normally.

In addition, the welding of clean parts is required. The quality of welding is closely related to the surface cleanliness of the parts. The cleaning process usually includes degreasing, deoxidizing, and fine drying. Solvents (alcohol, carbon tetrachloride, etc.) can be used for deoiling and chemical deoiling (sodium hydroxide solution, etc.). The removal of the oxide film depends on the data. Alkaline solution can be used for aluminum alloy. Copper, copper alloys and stainless steel can be corroded by acid. Here, manufacturers of cast copper heaters provide clean technologies for aluminum alloys, copper alloys and stainless steel. Of course, other suitable methods can also be used.
It should be noted that no matter whether it is pickling or alkaline washing, it should not be taken for a long time to avoid excessive corrosion, especially axial and spiral grooves. Excessive corrosion will enlarge the groove and reduce the capillary force. Copper mesh is often used, and the wire diameter is small, so pickling is not used. After being immersed in the solvent, the oil can be removed. The inside of the sintered die is very clean and does not need to be cleaned. If you need to clean, you can soak in the solvent and bake for a long time to completely evaporate the residual solvent in the tube core.
In addition, lye and acid are different in corrosiveness, and harmful gases will be emitted during cleaning. For example, when copper interacts with an acid, a gradient gas is released. When the longitudinal gas is discharged through the acid solution, an acid mist is formed. Therefore, it must be cleaned in a well-ventilated environment.
