What are the common problems with mechanical thermostats?
1. The thermostat terminal is stuck and falls off
In addition to the fact that the balance spring is too weak to press, it can also be caused by adhesion due to the accumulation of words on the contacts. In this case, you can cut off the power supply, turn the thermostat knob from "stop" to the coldest position repeatedly, and then connect the power supply, and it will return to normal, indicating that the fault has been eliminated.

2. The thermostat is short-circuited.
The main reason is that the wiring falls off the clip or the temperature sensor of the temperature sensor leaks. The temperature sensing agent leaks, the pressure in the temperature sensing chamber is reduced to atmospheric pressure, and the lever connected to the moving contact is only subjected to the tension of the balance spring. Therefore, the moving and static contacts cannot be closed. The thermostat is in an open circuit state and the compressor cannot be started.

3.The temperature sensing tube leaves the surface of the evaporator.
The temperature control of the thermostat is too low. Please note that whether it is a newly installed or repaired thermostat, the refrigerator must be debugged to keep the box temperature within the rated range.
The above are the common faults of the mechanical thermostat that I have shared for you. I hope it will help you.
