What does a capillary thermostat do

Thermostat refers to a series of automatic control elements that undergo physical deformation inside the switch according to the temperature change of the working environment, thereby producing some special effects and generating on or off actions, also called temperature control switches, temperature protectors, Temperature controller, referred to as thermostat.


The thermostat converts the change of the controlled temperature into the change of the space pressure or volume through the closed temperature bulb and capillary filled with the temperature-sensing working medium. Close the contact to achieve the purpose of automatic temperature control.


It consists of three parts: a temperature sensing part, a temperature setting main body, a microswitch or an automatic damper that performs opening and closing. Pressure thermostats are suitable for refrigeration appliances (such as refrigerators, freezers, etc.) and heaters.
