Here is to introduce how to fix the flexible thin film heaters.
1.Self-adhesive
Flexible film heating sheet can provide self-adhesive type. It's easy to install by simply peeling off the protective lining and rolling the heater into place on a clean surface (no sludge or fingerprints). It is best to use a heater with a soft adhesive back for the flexible film heater to ensure that the entire heater is in contact with the contact surface of the heated object without any air bubbles.
2.Clamping
To allow theflexible thin film heater to be detached and reused for other applications, the ultra-thin flexible heater can be clamped to a metal surface using a metal plate held in place by fasteners. Since the Ultra Thin Flexible Film Heater is very thin, it is a good heating idea to use a silicone pad or insulating layer between the heater and the pressure metal plate to cushion the heater to ensure full contact to prevent air bubbles and direct heat to the item. When clamping, make sure that the metal plate covers the entire heating area without touching the terminals and leads. Make sure that the metal plate maintains an even pressure on the heater surface, without slopes or air gaps, otherwise the flexible film heater will not dissipate heat properly and cause the heater to overheat.
