In production, due to different measured objects, different environmental conditions, different measurement requirements, and different installation methods and measures of thermal resistance, there are many problems to be considered, but in principle, the accuracy and safety of temperature measurement can be measured , maintenance convenience to consider three aspects.
1. In order to avoid damage to the temperature measuring element, it should be ensured that it has sufficient mechanical strength. In order to protect the temperature sensing element from wear, a protective screen or protective tube should be added. In order to ensure safety and reliability, the installation method of the temperature measuring element should depend on the specific conditions. It depends on the situation (such as the temperature and pressure of the medium to be measured, the length of the temperature measuring element and its installation position and form, etc.).
2. Any temperature measuring element under pressure must be installed to ensure its tightness. Thermocouples working at high temperatures should generally be installed vertically in order to prevent the protection tube from being deformed at high temperatures. If the temperature measuring element is installed in a pipeline with a large medium flow rate, it should be installed obliquely. In order to prevent the temperature measuring element from being excessively eroded, it is best to install it at the bend of the pipeline.
3. When the medium pressure exceeds 10MPa, a protective jacket must be added to the measuring element. The installation site of the thermocouple/thermal resistance should also consider enough space and site for its disassembly, maintenance and calibration. The thermocouple and thermal resistance with a long protection tube should be easily disassembled and assembled.
