Why do cars need battery heaters?
As everyone knows about traditional fuel vehicles, there will be a process of warming up the vehicle during use in winter.
Therefore, it is very important to preheat the battery to realize its full potential. For battery preheating, each manufacturer's technology is different, some are to install a heater around the battery, and some are to heat the battery coolant. Let the battery heat up , and the purpose is to keep the battery at normal operating temperature.

At present, the most important technology is to use heaters. There are generally three types: silicone heaters, PI heaters, and epoxy board heaters. Each has its own advantages, but due to its inherent thickness, thermal conductivity, insulation performance and other factors during use. Will restrict the scope of their respective use.
1. Generally, PI film heaters are suitable for small area and relatively thin workpieces.
2. The Silicone rubber heater can be used in a large area and leaking environment. It is better to use temperature-resistant silica gel for a long time.
3. The epoxy heating plate is made of epoxy resin as the insulator and metal foil/nano paste as the internal conductive heating element. It is composited by high temperature heat. The epoxy resin heating plate has excellent insulation strength and excellent voltage resistance. Performance , excellent thermal conductivity, excellent resistance stability, widely used in the field of electric heating, is also used in the preheating and insulation of new energy battery packs.

Among the three, the most suitable is the PI film heater, which can also be called polyimide heater.
Therefore, it is widely used in various heaters, hair curlers, hair straighteners, heating cups, heating plates, medical care and so on. Easy to install, it can be pasted with double-sided tape or fixed on the heated body by mechanical means .
