Pt100 Thermocouple is a type of resistance temperature detector (RTD) that measures temperature by detecting changes in electrical resistance. It consists of a platinum wire wound around a ceramic or glass core. As temperature increases, the resistance of the wire increases, allowing temperature to be measured.  A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals, which are joined together at one end. When there is a temperature difference between the two ends, a voltage is generated, which is proportional to the temperature difference. This voltage can be measured and used to determine the temperature.
