Cartridge heater is suitable for heating metal molds due to the small size and high power. It is usually used in conjunction with a thermocouple to achieve good heating and temperature control effects.
Cartridge heaters are often used in the following fields.
1. In traditional plastic molds or rubber molds
Cartridge heater is placed inside the metal mold plate to ensure that the plastic and rubber materials in the mold flow channel are always in a molten state and maintain a relatively uniform temperature.
2. In packaging machinery and hot-cutting knives
Insert the cartridge heating tube into the edge-sealing mold or the hot-cutting knife mold, so that the mold can reach a uniform high temperature, and the material can be melted and bonded once it contacts the mold.
3. In the melt-blown mold
The cartridge heating tube is installed inside the melt-blown die head to ensure that the inside of mold head, especially the position of the wire hole, is at a uniform high temperature. Then the material is sprayed through the wire hole after melting to achieve a uniform density.
