How is the electric heating tube composed?

The electric heating tube has the following components:


1. Shell


The more commonly used electric heating tubes are metal shells, which are made of copper, iron and stainless steel.


2.Resistance wire


  The resistance wire is the main component of the electric heating tube, and it is also the heating body of the electric heating tube. The electric heating tube achieves the purpose of heating by energizing the resistance wire.


  There are two kinds of resistance wires commonly used in electric heating tubes, iron-chromium-aluminum wire and nickel-chromium wire.


1. Iron chrome aluminum wire


  Iron-chromium-aluminum wire has a normal temperature resistance of about 1200 degrees. This is a very commonly used material for electric heating tubes because of its high temperature resistance and relatively low cost.


2. Nickel-chromium wire


  Nickel-chromium wire also has a temperature resistance of about 1200 degrees, but it is more flexible than iron-chromium-aluminum wire, and is normally used in a vibrating heating environment.

3. Filler


  The filling material of the electric heating tube is densely filled between the resistance wire and the shell, which mainly plays the role of insulation and heat conduction, which is why the surface of the electric heating tube is not conductive.


  The filling material of electric heating tubes used to be quartz sand, but now they use improved and upgraded magnesia powder. The purity and dryness of the improved magnesia powder have been greatly improved. The thermal conductivity and insulation properties have been greatly improved.


  Magnesium oxide powder selects low temperature powder, medium temperature powder, high temperature powder, etc. according to the working temperature.


4. Terminal


  The terminal is connected with the resistance wire inside the heating tube, and it is mainly used to connect the power line and energize.


  The material of the terminal is iron, copper, stainless steel, etc.


5. Sealing


  The electric heating tube is normally sealed with high temperature sealing glue. The function of the sealing glue is to prevent the moisture in the air from being sucked into the tube and causing the electric heating tube to leak.


  After the normal electric heating tube is sealed with sealing glue, a ceramic bead will be added for insulation.


6. Small nut and small gasket on the terminal


  These are accessories for fixing power cords, usually copper, iron, stainless steel.


  The above six parts are the important parts of the electric heating tube, and what material each part is made of. Some complex electric heating tubes are also composed of flanges, fixed baffles, fins, fasteners, etc.
