Stable temperature control is important for injection molding, extrusion and blow molding processes.
A thermocouple measures the actual temperature and sends the signal to the temperature controller, which adjusts the heaters accordingly. Proper temperature control helps maintain consistent plastic melting and processing.
Thermocouples are commonly installed in the barrel heating zones, nozzle and mold area. Multiple sensors may be used for machines with several heating zones.
In extruders, thermocouples can be installed in the barrel, die head and tooling area. Different sections may require different temperature settings and measurement points.
Thermocouples are also used in blow molding machines, film extrusion lines, pipe extrusion equipment and other plastic processing machinery. Probe length, diameter, thread and lead wire length may need to be customized to fit the equipment.

K Type Thermocouples are commonly used in plastic machinery for general temperature measurement. J Type and S Type are also available for different operating conditions.
We supplies both wire and armored thermocouples, with different sheath materials such as SS304 and SS316. Threaded and compression fitting connections can also be customized.
Mounting holes, thread sizes and installation depths vary between machines, so a standard thermocouple may not always fit.
We can manufacture thermocouples according to customer drawings, samples or specifications, including probe size, material, thread, lead wire length and connection type.
