Introduction Of Heating Wire

Heating wire is a functional alloy material that converts electrical energy into heat. Its maximum operating temperature can reach more than 1,000 degrees Celsius. It is used to manufacture various electrical heating elements in the fields of metallurgy, construction, military industry, and home appliances. So why does the heating wire in high temperature not short-circuit phenomenon?

At present, electric heating alloy materials have become an important engineering alloy material and occupy an important position in the national economy. Iron-chromium-aluminum and nickel-chromium electric heating alloys generally have strong oxidation resistance, but because the furnace contains various gases, such as air, carbon atmosphere, sulfur atmosphere, hydrogen, nitrogen atmosphere, etc., these gases affect the components under high temperature use. All have a certain impact. Although all kinds of electric heating alloys have been treated with anti-oxidation before leaving the factory, they will cause component damage to a certain extent during transportation, winding, and installation, which will reduce the service life and extend the service life. , The customer is required to perform pre-oxidation treatment before use. The method is to energize and heat the installed electric heating alloy components in dry air to 100-200 degrees below the allowable maximum use temperature of the alloy, and keep it for 5-10 hours. Slowly cool the furnace.

The diameter and thickness of the heating wire is a parameter related to the maximum operating temperature. The larger the diameter of the heating wire, the easier it is to overcome the problem of deformation at high temperatures and prolong its service life. When the heating wire runs below the maximum operating temperature, the diameter should be no less than 3mm, and the thickness of the sling should be no less than 2mm. The service life of the heating wire is also largely related to the diameter and thickness of the heating wire. When the heating wire is used in a high temperature environment, a protective oxide film will form on the surface. After a period of time, the oxide film will age and form a cyclic process of continuous generation and destruction. This process is the process of continuous consumption of elements in the electric furnace wire. Electric furnace wires with larger diameters and thicknesses have more elements and have a longer service life. At present, the heating wire materials on the market are mainly iron-chromium-aluminum alloy series and nickel-chromium electric heating alloy series, which are also more popular materials for heating wires and heating elements. Through the above introduction, do you know more about the heating wire? Don't think it is a small heating element, it brings us a lot of functions. Without it, we might not be able to power on!
