Is the PI film heater better or the silicone heater better?
PI film heaters and silicone rubber heaters are commonly used materials for heating plates. But each material has its own specific field.
1. Generally, the PI film heater is suitable for small area and relatively thin workpieces.
2. The silicone rubber heater can be used in a large area. And In long-term use, silicone heaters are relatively better in temperature resistance.
At present, there are also heating plates with silicone encapsulation, epoxy resin and PI film coated with CL-24S-2PA.
Note: silicone aluminum plate, due to the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy. It is also common in the industry to glue silicone plates and CL-24W coated aluminum alloys (high temperature compression molding) to make heating plates.
The actual effect mainly depends on the application environment, using a more suitable heating scheme.
