Precautions For Cartridge Heaters
Precautions for use:
1. During the use of high-watt density cartridge heater, due to its rapid heating and poor heat dissipation conditions, the external stainless steel tube body of the electric heating is often burnt, oxidized, and deformed, which causes the internal heating element-the electric heating alloy wire to melt due to high temperature air burning. As a result, the life of the cartridge heater itself is shortened. Therefore, a good cartridge heater not only requires good production quality, but also requires the material and processing aperture of the mold (the closer the hole diameter is to the pipe diameter, the better). Outside the tube, it also facilitates the heat transfer between the two, thus prolonging the service life of the heater itself.

2. Pay attention to the precision of the deep hole processing of the mold, and do not drill at both ends, because the junction cannot be tightly closed and there are large pores, which makes the heating tube poorly radiate and the temperature of the heated body is uneven.
3. Attention should be paid to the magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of the heater. It should not be exposed to pollutants and moisture in the use place to prevent leakage. It is best to reserve 5mm outside the mold.
4. Use the heater when starting up, and it is best to preheat it for 5 minutes to avoid the risk of electric leakage due to humid air or moisture infiltrating into the tube. The electric heating machine must be equipped with a grounding wire.
