When the temperature is low, the resistivity of PTC electric heating element decreases with the increase of temperature, and the resistivity changes little at this time. When the temperature reaches a certain temperature, it will be transformed into obvious positive temperature coefficient characteristics, and the resistivity will rise sharply, with an increase of more than 103 ~ 105 times, which will rapidly reduce the current flowing through the electric heating element and play the role of automatic power regulation. TN is the temperature at the end of the rapid increase of resistivity, and then the resistivity increases slowly with the increase of temperature, so that the surface of electric heating element has a constant temperature range. Therefore, PTC electric heating element has the ability of temperature self limiting.
