The effect of fins in the tubular heaters
Finned heating tubes are generally used in a dry burning working environment. The function of fins is to increase the heat dissipation area of the tubular heaters, that is, increase the contact surface with air, which can improve the heat exchange efficiency of the finned electric tubular heaters. In contrast, the heat transfer efficiency of the heating tube without fins is greatly reduced, and stainless steel fins are used most in practical applications. A very important factor affecting the life of the heating tube in a dry burning environment is the surface temperature of the heating tube. If a finned electric heating tube is used to accelerate the heat dissipation on the surface of the heating tube, the surface temperature of the tubular heaters will decrease, thereby increasing the heating tube life.
