What are the different types of silicone rubber heater constructions?

1. Standard Silicone Rubber Heaters

Construction: These heaters are made of a thin layer of silicone rubber with embedded heating elements, usually made of resistance wire (like nichrome). The wire is evenly distributed to provide uniform heat.

Applications: Commonly used for general heating purposes, such as heating tanks, pipes, or surfaces.

2. Silicone Rubber with Fiberglass Reinforcement

Construction: These heaters have a silicone rubber outer layer reinforced with fiberglass, making them more durable and resistant to mechanical wear, tear, and abrasion.

Applications: Ideal for high-stress environments where durability is important, such as industrial machinery and heating systems.

3. Custom-Shaped Silicone Rubber Heaters

Construction: These are specially designed heaters that are custom-molded to fit particular shapes and sizes, such as circular, rectangular, or even more complex forms.

Applications: Common in industrial and automotive applications where standard flat heaters cannot meet specific requirements, like heating around pipe bends or irregular surfaces.

4. Silicone Rubber Heaters with Adhesive Backing

Construction: These heaters have a layer of adhesive on one side, allowing them to be easily attached to surfaces without the need for additional mounting hardware.

Applications: Often used in applications where ease of installation is critical, such as heating flexible hoses, drums, or tanks.
