1. Temperature sensor (capillary): A long, thin metal tube filled with a temperature-sensitive liquid (such as a paraffin mixture or a special gas).
2. Diaphragm/Bellwall: Connected to the capillary, it deforms under the pressure of the expanding liquid.
3. Switching mechanism: Converts the deformation into mechanical action, switching the circuit on or off.
4. Adjustment knob: Used to set the target temperature.

 

When the probe detects a temperature change, the liquid inside the tube expands or contracts, the pressure is transmitted to the diaphragm, the diaphragm deforms and drives the mechanical mechanism, triggering the switch to open or close, thereby controlling the operation of the heater/cooling equipment.
