Attention of Designing of Heating Tubes with Ohm's Law

Jun 01, 2020

Voltage, current, and resistance that are related to electricity, so what is the relationship between them?

The essential formula for electricity is Ohm's law:

current (I) = voltage (U) ÷ resistance (R)

The formula according to Ohm's law can be transformed into:

Power = voltage*2 ÷ resistance

Resistance = voltage*2 ÷ power

These two formulas are used most in the production process of our electric heating tube. When these two formulas are applied to the heating tube, you should pay attention to the following points:

1. After the heating tube is made, its resistance value is fixed.

2. In the case of a given resistance value, the voltage of the heating tube is proportional to the power.

3. In the case of a given voltage, the power of the heating tube is inversely proportional to the resistance.

Therefore, from the above talking, we need to pay attention when using the electric heating tube: the rated voltage of the electric heating tube must be consistent with the working voltage, otherwise the generated power is either too large or too small, it will not work properly.
