Condensation can occur in ventilation and HVAC systems when warm, humid air comes into contact with a cold air duct or other surface. If the surface temperature falls below the dew point, moisture can form on the surface.
Continued condensation may cause corrosion of ducts and metal components, affect electrical parts and insulation, and reduce the reliability of the ventilation system. In cold environments, accumulated moisture may also freeze.
For systems operating in cold or humid conditions, controlled heating can help reduce the risk of condensation and freezing.
PTC Air Heaters are designed to heat moving air directly and are commonly used in ventilation systems, air-handling equipment, and air preheating applications. PTC heating elements increase their electrical resistance as their temperature rises, providing a degree of self-regulating heating behavior.

Finned Tubular Heaters use metal fins to increase the heat transfer area, allowing heat to be transferred more effectively to moving air. They are suitable for air ducts, industrial drying equipment, and other forced-air heating applications.
The right heating element depends on factors such as airflow, inlet air temperature, target temperature, available installation space, and required wattage.

We can customize PTC Air Heaters and Finned Tubular Heaters according to customer specifications or drawings.
For PTC Air Heaters, parameters such as size, thickness, heat dissipation grid spacing, lead wire length, voltage, and wattage can be customized.
For Finned Tubular Heaters, we can customize dimensions, voltage, wattage, heating tube and fin materials, fin diameter, and other specifications according to the application.
For OEM equipment manufacturers, providing drawings, installation dimensions, operating temperature, airflow, and electrical requirements helps us develop a heating element that fits the equipment more accurately.
