How to do high and low temperature damp heat test with mechanical timer for oven?

Mar 18, 2022

You can use HYH series constant temperature and humidity test chamber to test the mechanical timer for oven.

1. Humidity and heat resistance test:

The mechanical timer for oven is placed under the environmental conditions of 40±2℃ and relative humidity of 90%~95%, and it is taken out after 48 hours of continuous storage. At room temperature, the surface is immediately wiped dry, and the measurement is completed within 3 minutes. Its performance should meet:

Insulation resistance should not be less than 10MΩ, withstand ac1500V (effective value), and the test voltage with a frequency of 50Hz lasts for 1 minute, and there should be no insulation breakdown and flashover.

2. High temperature test:

After placing the mechanical timer for oven in a high temperature box with a temperature of 120℃±5℃ for 1 hour, measure the running time error of the timer in the box.

3. Low temperature test:

Place the mechanical timer for oven in a low temperature box with a temperature of -15°C ± 5°C for 4 hours, then move it to room temperature to recover for not less than 1 hour, and measure its timing error. The timer should not be cracked, deformed, and the error should not exceed the specified value 2 times.
