How to install a capillary thermostat
1. Turn off the power: Before starting any installation process, always ensure the power supply is turned off to avoid any accidents.
2. Remove the previous thermostat: If you have an old thermostat installed, turn the screws counterclockwise and take the cover off the thermostat and disconnect the wires.
3. Prepare the thermostat: The capillary thermostat packaging includes installation instructions, a sensing bulb, the controller, and a mounting bracket. The thermostat installation kit includes screws, wiring harness, and mounting hardware.
4. Install the mounting bracket: Using screws, install the mounting bracket in the desired location. Ensure the bracket is level and stable.
5. Install the thermostat controller: Screw the thermostat controller into the mounting bracket. Ensure the controller display is visible and aligned correctly.
6. Connect the wires: The wiring harness will have color-coded wires. Connect the wires to the thermostat controller using the wiring diagram provided as a guide.
7. Install the sensing bulb: Clamp the sensing bulb in the appropriate location. The bulb should be clamped using the correct clamping distance, ensuring it's secure, and the sensing tip is in contact with the surface.
8. Power up the thermostat: Once all connections are secure, power up the thermostat according to the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Set the temperature: Set the temperature according to your needs.
10. Test the thermostat: Once the thermostat is installed and powered up, test it by adjusting the temperature setting and ensuring it works correctly.
11. Clean up: Remove any installation debris and store the old thermostat in a safe place.
