How to maintain a ceramic infrared heater?
1. Regular Cleaning
Unplug the heater before cleaning.
Wipe the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust from ceramic plates and vents.
2. Inspect Components
Check for cracks in the ceramic element (replace if damaged).
Ensure wiring and plugs are in good condition (no fraying or burns).
3. Prevent Dust Buildup
Dust accumulation reduces efficiency-clean every 1–2 months during use.
4. Store Properly (If Seasonal Use)
Let the heater cool completely before storing.
Keep in a dry place, covered to prevent dust.
5. Safety Checks
Test safety shut-off features periodically.
Replace the unit if it emits strange smells, sparks, or inconsistent heat.
