How to Repair the Electric Kettle Chassis When Voltage Becomes Low?
If it is a heating tube electric kettle:
First, power on indicates that the primary circuit is good, and you should check whether the wiring connected to the heating tube is loose;
Second. Check if the wiring connecting the five rings of the kettle base is loose
Third. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage across the heating tube. If there is a voltage input, the heating tube is burned out.
If it is an electric kettle with chassis heating:
First, power on indicates that the primary circuit is good, and you should check whether the wiring connecting the five rings of the kettle base and the heating plate at the bottom of the kettle is loose;
Second, the electric motor has a temperature display, but it has not been heated, indicating that the kettle temperature sensor (thermostat thermocouple) may be broken and should be replaced.
Third. The motor has no temperature display. Try to rotate the kettle. If there is still no temperature display, it means that the fifth ring (power contact ring coupler) may be damaged and should be replaced.
Expansion: Repair method of electric kettle base
1. When using an electric kettle, if you find that the bottom of the kettle is broken, please do not use it. Please use it after repairing. First, wipe off the water to avoid rusting of the metal parts due to water droplets, otherwise it will cause poor contact.
2. Soak up the water with a soft cloth or toilet paper, put it in a ventilated place or blow it dry with a hair dryer. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the base plugs, and the resistance value should not be less than 1 megohm.
3. You can check the wires at both ends of the heating tube with a multimeter to see if there is resistance. If there is no resistance, it means that the heating tube is malfunctioning. Generally speaking, if the electric heating tube is broken, it can only be used by replacing it with a new one.
