Step 1: Setup
Place the hot plate on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Connect to power (electric) or gas supply (if gas-powered).
Step 2: Preheat
Set the desired temperature (e.g., 60°C/140°F for keeping food warm, 90°C/194°F for slow cooking).
Allow 5–10 minutes to reach the target temperature.
Step 3: Food Placement
Place food in heat-resistant containers (stainless steel pans, ceramic dishes).
Avoid direct contact with the heating surface if using liquids (use a buffer like a trivet).
Step 4: Temperature Control
Adjust heat as needed (lower for delicate foods like sauces, higher for searing or caramelizing).
Stir occasionally to ensure even heating (for liquids like soups or melted chocolate).
Step 5: Shut Down & Cleaning
Turn off and unplug after use.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth (avoid abrasive cleaners).
