Silicone Sealing Material for Electric Heating Tube

Methyl silicone oil is widely used as a sealing material for electric heating tubes. This is because it has better airtightness to moisture, simpler process, and has good breathability. However, because it is a viscous semi-liquid liquid, it is often installed in the electric heating tube with the mouth facing down. After a long time of using, the silicone oil gradually leaks and the sealing performance gradually declines, which is a disadvantage.

Silicone rubber has many excellent properties such as high temperature, low temperature, waterproof, anti-aging, insulation, and shock resistance. It can be used for a long time without aging in a 200-degree working environment. It still maintains good elasticity at minus 50 degrees, and its volume specific resistance is also very high. It is ideal of silicone oil as sealing material. But it needs to be carried out under high temperature and high pressure due to the complicated process.
