What are the characteristics of PI film heater?
The polyimide material is an aromatic heterocyclic macromolecule compound whose molecular structure contains imide groups. That is, Polyimide (referred to as PI), which is one of the best heat-resistant varieties in engineering plastics.

Main Features
1. Mechanical properties: high tensile, bending and compressive strength, outstanding creep resistance and dimensional stability.
2. Thermal properties: The main chain bond energy is large, not easy to break and decompose, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient.
3. Electrical properties: high dielectric strength and outstanding corona resistance.

4. Chemical resistance: oil and organic solvent resistance, alkali resistance, strong oxidant resistance, heat resistance or alkali hydrolysis, radiation resistance, low self-extinguishing smoke rate.
5. Disadvantages: The melting point is too high, it is insoluble in most organic solvents, the processing fluidity is poor, it is easy to hydrolyze, the water absorption is high, and the water expansion coefficient is large.
