How to maintain the cartridge heater?

1) Store the cartridge heater in a dry place, especially in an environment with high humidity.

2) Protect the heating tube leads from wear and tear, and do not expose them to contaminants, such as grease and injection molding machine spouts. The lead wire should not be used in an environment higher than 450 degrees Celsius.

3) The operation of the equipment needs to be temperature controlled and kept in good working condition, and the operating equipment should meet the specifications.

4) Because all heating tubes have the tendency to absorb moisture from the humid air, they may accumulate moisture during transportation or storage. So if the insulation resistance value is low (less than 1 megohm) the heating tube can be placed in the oven for a few hours or use low voltage when it first starts to operate to eliminate moisture.
