Jul 03, 2025

Applications

  • Biofuels: Maintain biodiesel fluidity while in storage or prior to transfer.
  • Crude Oil: Decrease viscosity for pumping or pipeline feeding.
  • Lubricants: Avoid thickening in colder conditions for equipment maintenance.
  • Drilling Fluids: Maintain viscosity for optimal lubrication and cleaning of the wellbore.

Usage Steps

  • Inspect Heater & IBC: Check cleanliness and structural integrity of IBC. Wrap Heater Around IBC: Pull blanket tightly against the container and secure it with built-in fastening system, or belts. Plug in and ensure there is a power source that matches heater voltage spec (110V or 220V).
  • Set Temperature: Use the thermostat to reach the selected temperature for the type of fluid.
  • Monitor Heating Process: Check temperature periodically (some models have built-in displays).
  • Unplug When Done: Unplug heater at the desired temperature of fluid.
